The fall in Ljubljana is really beautiful. The trees are changing colours and the city becomes a little more peaceful than during the summer which is now slowly coming to an end.

International Performing Arts Festival EX PONTO 2015 (18. – 26. September) will take place in Ljubljana and Novo Mesto. First time this year Ex ponto will also include a programme of documentary films from the area of former Yugoslavia. More info here.
Ave Emona (25. – 27. September) – this is the main event in celebration of 2000th anniversary of Emona. Roman legionaries will be demonstrating their skills on Congress Square. Do you want to go back in future? You can read more about the event here.
Golden stick festival 2015 (5. – 10. October) – this is a Slovenian biennial festival of performing arts for children and young people. It is organised by the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Slovenian Theatre Institute and Cankarjev dom Cultural and Congress Centre. When? 5. – 10. October. Read more about the festival here.
51st International Wine Fair (15. – 17. October) – this is one of the oldest fair events in Slovenia. In 2014 fair hosted more than 200 exhibitors. This year the numbers will be even higher. So if you are a fan of wine, this is definitely the event you must visit. More info here.
