A footbridge for fish?

The name probably sounds a bit silly, but Fish Footbridge got its name from Fish Square, which sits at one end of this footbridge. Fish Square holds the title of the smallest square in Ljubljana and took its name from the fish market and fishing wharf that was here between the 16th and 19th century.

A few months ago Ljubljana finally got its new Fish footbridge, measuring 3.4 m wide and designed as a steel frame structure with a heated walking surface and glass sides.

As a visitor in Ljubljana you should visit this footbridge because it offers a beautiful view over the Triple Bridge and Prešern Square.
